Embrace Expectations / Serve

  • We EMBRACE the expectations that go along with being a 1st class program with high expectations

    • Courage to live up to expectations (Be honest and vulnerable about fears, do not fear fears)

    • Character to take the proper actions when in public

    • Integrity to do the honorable things when no one will ever know what we did

  • We seek to utilize our position within the Pope community to MAKE THE POPE COMMUNITY A BETTER, HAPPIER, MORE COHESIVE ENVIRONMENT. 

    • Pope = PARADISE (#PARADISECITYUSA)

    • “BLOOM WHERE YOUR FEET ARE” & have a desire to make Pope a better place  -  CONTAGIOUS to all teams

  • Serve the Community because without the community we DO NOT EXIST! 

    • Give back to them because they give to you! 

    • Make the youth of East Cobb Desire to be part of our culture!

Skills that help us build DISTINCTION

  1. Supporting other athletes.  (attendance at events, pick me ups, social media posts, etc.)

  2. Community service

  3. Exemplar behaviors in the classroom and at school events

  4. Radiate positive aura about Pope!

 

How Distinction Builds Brotherhood

  1. Having courage in the face of a fear and sharing vulnerabilities builds CAMRADERIE.

  2. Contagious Positivity feels good and literally spikes dopamine and creates a DESIRE to be together. 

  3. Serving the community together creates PRIDE in the program.

  4. Being part of a prestigious program creates a FEELING OF BELONGING AND CLOSENESS.
